  17.     Note: This version is mainly a bugfix for the more obvious problems
  18. found in version 1.00. Thankyou to everyone for all their help in finding
  19. these bugs.

  21. BF    -    Some serial drivers would not work properly with X-Comm
  22.         (Dnet.device etc). This (I hope) has been fixed. I have tested
  23.         X-Comm with as many as I could try. Serial routines were also
  24.         slightly optimized in the process.

  26. BF    -    Going into the phonebook, dialing an entry, going back into the
  27.         phone book from the dialer, and then dialing again would crash.
  28.         This was a problem with endless recursion and has been fixed. This
  29.         may also fix some of the problems related to crashing when
  30.         connecting to a system.

  32. MA    -    I have attempted to implement 'Control-Space' or 'Control-Shift-2'
  33.         as some people have requested this when Vt100 cursor mode was
  34.         enabled. I have no idea what value this combination should send
  35.         out, so I am hoping that the MapRawKey() function will perform this
  36.         correctly. Note that this remap will only take place when 'VT100
  37.         Cursors' is enabled in the Terminal window.

  39. BF    -    Selecting 'File Control' in the phonebook entry editor in the
  40.         unregistered version would sometimes cause    a crash. This has
  41.         been fixed.

  43. BF    -    The installation script reported an incorrect version number of the
  44.         version of the reqtools library to install. It would just display
  45.         the version of the library currently in RAM, so it would appear
  46.         that you had the same version of the library as was included in the
  47.         distribution. Please note that the version included in this
  48.         distribution is 38.961. I have tried to fix this problem by placing
  49.         an 'Avail FLUSH' command in the script, but I cannot guarantee
  50.         that this will fix the problem.

  52. NF    -    X-Comm is now distributed with a program called 'Munchit'. It
  53.         allows you to delete entries from your binary logfile, so as to
  54.         keep the information current. It is fairly straightforward, and can
  55.         be loaded from within X-Comm by selecting the 'Load Munchit' button
  56.         from the Binary Log Analyse Window. Please read the Readme file
  57.         regarding Munchit for more information.

  59. The Next Release

  62.     The next release of X-Comm will include some of the most requested
  63. features. Mainly this includes an internal Vt100 emulation with text
  64. snapping on the main screen, and the ability to disable the status bar down
  65. the bottom of the screen, aswell as some other features.
